Please spread the word about the open houses and information sessions that are being held on Thursday, Oct. 4, Friday, Oct. 19, Thursday, Dec. 6 and Monday, Dec. 17 for those interested in becoming speech-language pathologists for the New York City Department of Education.
This program is geared towards those who are starting their careers or changing their careers. Classes are offered online in the evenings and weekends to accommodate those who are working and there is also a live class every semester. Clinical experience is arranged in the New York City area. Students are mentored by UFT Teacher Center speech-language pathologists.
